I want to tell you about a powerful acronym I learned years ago…
It can literally revolutionize your relationship with God…
Here we go, down to the very fabric of your being:
A 10-Fold Prayer List
“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,” — Eph. 3:16
A prayer list… really? Yes, a list. But don’t see it as a restriction to your “prayer time freedoms,” se it as a tool that will give you language in your conversation with God.
Here is why: your inner man (even ladies have one) has ten different areas, and the acronym I told you about is based on targeting those ten areas, so you can be “strengthened with might” (Eph. 3:16).
I learned this prayer approach many years ago, from Mike Bickle. And let me tell you… it’s a powerful tool.
Here is the ten letter acronym… F-E-L-L-O-W-S-H-I-P
Each one of the letters focus on an important area of your soul. The idea is to systematically pray through these ten areas on a daily basis.
All ten requests are based on promises or prayers from the Scripture. BUT you should know… not all the promises in the Bible are a guarantee of increased blessings… they are invitations to receive them based on our responses. That’s why, it is crucial for you to ask the LORD to release these blessings.
Read that again… ignoring that is why many Christians get offended with God and never come to understand how His Kingdom works.
For example, the Lord promised to put His fear in your life (Jer. 32:40), his promise is sure—but only the HOLY SPIRIT can make the fear of the Lord grow inside of you.
SO, the Holy Spirit waits for you to ask Him for MORE of the fear of the Lord, before He releases that promise. That’s how it works.
If you don’t ask, you may go through years of “unnecessary spiritual deficiency,” functioning without the Holy Spirit’s impartation and empowerment—without strengthen in your inner man.
Put differently, IF YOU ASK GOD consistently, HE will release far more strength to your soul than if you don’t ask at all. Is that simple.
If you are weak inside, don’t blame your husband or your wife. Don’t blame your kids. Don’t blame your mother in law. Don’t blame the pastor. Don’t blame the devil. And above all, don’t blame God…
Just ask HIM… ask and you shall receive!
Ok, this spiritual edition is already long… but before finishing, let’s cover the first acronym’s letter.
F: Fear of the Lord
“I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me” (Jer. 32:4) “Unite my heart to fear Your name” (Ps. 86:11) “His delight is in the fear of the LORD” (Isa. 11:3) “The Lord . . . you shall hallow; let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread” (Isa. 8:13)
When the word “fear” comes up, we all have mixed emotions…
So, let’s define first what the “Fear of the Lord” is and what is not.
The doctrine and reality of the Fear of the Lord is both in the Old and New Testament. But is not to be compared with “demonic fear” or to be confused with “the fear of man.”
The fear of the Lord is simply this:
1) God is Watching
2) There are consequences to all of our actions.
You can get a clear (New Testament) perspective of the Fear of the Lord, when you read the book of Revelation (chapters 2 and 3).
Just take note on how Jesus speaks to the Churches. How important it is the way we live and how our choices determine life or death… this is why the Fear of the Lord is so important.
Also this New Testament passage:
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire— Heb. 12:28-29
And this is really important for you to understand… the love of God and the fear of God do NOT contradict each other…
Loving God is fearing Him. Fearing Him is loving Him. Obeying Him is loving Him.
Plus, the true fear of the Lord is based on a profound knowledge of God’s love for us.
OK… so… how can you use this first letter of the 10 letter acronym?
You simply ask the Holy Spirit to awaken the fear of the LORD inside of you. Ask Him to unite your heart to His heart and to His Word. That He would cause you to delight in the fear the Lord (Isa. 11:3), by “striking” your heart with the majesty and awe of God (Isa. 8:13).
And as you consistently ask—you will discover that it is WAY easier to say NO to SIN and resist temptation—when you feel the delights of loving God and (even a little) of “HIS fear and awe” in your soul.
Here’s a sample/template prayer:
“Father, release the spirit of the fear of the Lord into my heart. Strike my heart with revelation of Your majesty, that I might live in awe before You. Release Your HOLY PRESENCE and cause my spirit to tremble before Your glorious majesty. Unite my heart to Your heart and Word, and cause me to delight in the fear of the Lord.”
That’s all for now…
Leave your comments and feedback right here.
I do my best to read every comment… and I love hearing from you!
Pablo,
I noticed that all the Scripture references about the fear of the Lord are from the Old Testament, that is, the Old Covenant. 1 John 4 says that perfect love casts out fear, and he who fears is not perfected in love. Having grown up with a demonic fear of my father, it took the Holy Spirit many years to convince my heart of the unconditional love of the Father’s heart to me. Praying for the fear of Him is the last thing I want to do. I believe that in the New Covenant Jesus has a better way to keep us from sinning. “If you love me, you will obey me.” The more I know God, the less I can pray for the fear of the Lord.
Hi Hannelore,
The fear of the Lord is both in the Old and New Testament. But is not to be compared with “demonic fear” or to be confused with “the fear of man.” The fear of the Lord is simply this: 1) God is Watching 2) There are consequences to all of our actions.
You can get a clear (New Testament) perspective of the Fear of the Lord, when you read the book of Revelation (chapters 2 and 3). Take note on how Jesus speaks to the Churches. How important is the way we live and how our choices determine life or death… this is why the Fear of the Lord is so important.
Plus, the true fear of the Lord is based on a profound knowledge of God’s love for us. What’s more: the love of God and the fear of God do NOT contradict each other.
Loving God is Fearing Him. Fearing Him is Loving Him. Obeying Him is Loving Him.
And once again, the FEAR OF THE LORD is not to be confused with “the fear of man” or with the torment of “demonic fear” or with the “fear produced by nervous emotions” that comes from our own insecurities.
Hope that helps (:
I love your perspective on our relationship with the Father. The Holy Spirit has been calling my attention to a need for a deeper fellowship. I know I need more inner spiritual strength, this perspective will help me. Thanks

Your sharing is of great value to me. It is no one business but mine, to seek God with all my soul and grow in my love for Him. This is desirous and i found a way to solve this question of mine of growing deeper in my relationship with God.
What struck me most, when i fear God, i will not sin against Him – Just like the Bible says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom’ I want to ask as this has never being part of my prayer request, fearing God and standing in His awe always.
I look forward to other acronyms.
Thanks.
BA
It is so true Bunmi… the Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom, as Proverbs 9:10 declares:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding”
Thank you for your insight (:
Dear Pablo, it is always a blessing to receive help on how to walk closer with God. Some of us are weaker than others and need all the spiritual help that other stronger Christians can give. I can totally relate with an acronym as an aide to a better fellowship with the Lord and I look forward to the rest of the 9 letters. God bless you.
Thank you Vivian for your kind words… and by the way… we are all weak and broken human beings… last time I checked, there were no “Super Christians” around. We all fall to the ground and get up again. And we ALL need to receive from the Lord all the grace He can give us (every single day).
Blessings (:

Hi Pablo,
Thanks for this inspiring article. It’s my first time reading your post and I look forward to reading the next 9 acronyms.
A reference for the very first comment, Hebrews 12vs28,29 “Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a consuming fire.”
God bless you Pablo.
Thanks Emova, excellent reference from Hebrews!
This came at a time when I really needed to reconnect to God. Thank you Pablo for this inspiring and invigorating revelation. I look forward to subsequent updates. May the Lord continue to inspire and grace you with more wisdom as you continue in His work. Remain blessed, Pablo. Shalom!
Very glad to hear that Bukola, thanks for your kind words and encouragement (:
This truth you shared is spiritually strengthening for one’s relationship with God. I’ll look forward to the other 9 letter which hopefully we can read soon. God bless you for this as you inspire others more into the full divinity in our walk with God.
Thank you Roseller, Thanks for your encouraging words (:
I am in a situation where I dont know what to do, how to deal with. Its something I cant really do anything about and its been like this for five years. year after year I felt myself getting stronger and closer to God through these hard times. But every time I face it, it scares me. I was full of fear when I read your email. After I read it I realized for some reason, Fear of God overcomes Fear of the world. When I start fearing God, I will stop fearing the situations I need to face.
I cant say I have overcome them. But this email definitly opened up my eyes for a beginning.
so.. thank you :-))
Wow… that’s some enlightening insight Wendy. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings (:

Hi Pablo, have been blessed by your encourageing words to bring us to deeper intimate w God. I haven’t had it in a couple years. So, anyway to get the whole acronym now. Need truths now. Thank u, Randy (have to know Him again)
Randy, I am glad to hear that… much blessings (:
Dear Pablo,
Thanks for sharing this inspiring word. It’s really a reminder that fearing Him is obeying Him. Fearing God keeps us away from doing wrong things because we know God is watching and of the consequences. I believe as i continue to ask God for fear of Him, grow in my heart, i believe He will transform me into the person He wants me to be.
Looking forward to the next acronym “E”.
God bless.
Thanks Jenica. Yes, that’s right on. Love and obedience are a great definition for walking in the “Fear of the Lord”
i am truly blessed…
more blessings to you Peter!
This is a great message. I’m inspired. God help me to always ask for a closer relationship with you. Thanks Pablo.
I’m glad to hear that Pamela (:
i have gone way off from the Lord lately, but this message has really helped me. i pray that by the time its all over god will have mercy on me and save my poor soul.
Truth to be told, I myself have gone way off from the Lord so many times (that is hard to keep count). That’s why I am super thankful for his mercy and grace. And for his unrelenting love in pursuing me…
Of course, not many “ministers” would admit to this, but Matt. 25 is there to remind us, that even going through the motions of ministry you can run out of oil… and live far away from the Lord at the heart level…
So Victoria, we are all weak and broken human beings… that need all the grace God would give us, every day… to choose Him every day, every hour, and not go astray.
I love your message and how the Lord has lead you to present it to us. Thank you for your obedience and love for us.
thank’s for your words Donna (:
This is really inspiring. Look forward to reading the rest
thank you Uche (:
Dear Pablo this teaching is tremendous and we must change our christian life with those teachings, this is very profound, we must be transformed and humble in the presence and fear of the Lord. I thank you for this teaching and i am going to do it every day, as I WANT TO SEE THE GLORY OF THE LORD.
GOD BLESS YOU POWERFULLY
Thank you Maria. Yes, transformation through revelation, by the work of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you, Pablo. I had that revelation years ago that this was vitally important, but people would be offended if I brought it up, saying it was Old Testament and law stuff. Until now I have not been able to put words to, or explain what it really means, but you’ve clarified it, and it makes so much sense. I will continue to fear the Lord, and speak about it. Can you imagine if the church got hold of this it would strive to walk in holiness and not to legitimize sin.
You are right Anne, our generation is celebration lawlessness, and many in the Church today believe a false Gospel… and promote a fake (Not Biblical) Grace… but the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
